Annual Red Kettle Campaign

Become a part of the annual tradition which transforms lives all year long.

The Salvation Army has been collecting donations via kettles since 1891.  The red kettles are iconic to the Christmas season and many people can recall seeing the kettles at local stores, hearing bells ring by the bell-ringer volunteers or  enjoying the sounds of a Salvation Army brass band playing Christmas favorites. These are all beloved aspects of the Annual Red Kettle Campaign.

The Salvation Army's Red Kettles and Bell Ringers are present at nearly 100 retail locations in greater Cincinnati because need knows no season. Kettles are a critical annual fundraiser for our varied programs happening throughout the entire year, not just at Christmas.

We invite you to join us in this annual tradition!  You can get involved as a bell-ringer, use social media to generate support online and/or invite others to join you as you ring a 'virtual bell' online or in a retail store.

To help out as a volunteer bell-ringer, please follow this link to select a specific location in Greater Cincinnati, as well as a date and time. For more information, please contact Robin Webster at or 513-762-5600.
