    Restoring Local Families

Our region is in crisis. Every day in our community, people are hospitalized for substance abuse. These people have kids and families whose lives are being disrupted by the effects of addiction.  Our no-fee rehabilitation programs offer spiritual, emotional and social assistance to those seeking real help.

Local children are going hungry. Kids living in poverty often miss out on team sports and the arts. Some working families need a safe place for their kids to go after school. We offer youth programs and activities designed to help kids in our neighborhoods make positive decisions, stimulate creativity and foster independence.

About

The Salvation Army, an evangelical part of the universal Christian church established in 1865, has been supporting those in need in His name without discrimination for over 130 years in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. 82 cents of every dollar spent is used to support those services in 5,000 communities nationwide.

Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
