"HOPE for Camp SWONEKY" Fundraiser to Benefit Local Children's Camp

Cincinnati, OH (April 29, 2014) – The Salvation Army Camp Auxiliary today announced that it has secured a tremendous collection of auction items for its upcoming fundraiser, HOPE for Camp SWONEKY.  The event seeks to raise funds to benefit the children who attend The Salvation Army’s local residential camp. The auxiliary is deeply grateful to the organizations and individuals who have contributed items for their event.

The items to be auctioned include a wide assortment to appeal to those of all interests, including travel, fine dining, golf and sporting events, art and collectibles and much more.  A sampling of the items includes:

• A BMW weekend driving experience, courtesy of The BMW Store, with a $100 gift certificate to a popular country inn
• Round of golf for 4 plus lunch at the Maketewah Country Club
• Two (2) round-trip airfare tickets to Charlotte, Chicago or New York City
• A five-night stay in a mountainside condo in Whitefish, Montana
• A BMW collectible peddle car
• Two (2) “Panama Cruiser” bikes
• A signed, framed John Ruthven print: “Kentucky Warblers”

HOPE for Camp SWONEKY will be held the evening of Friday, May 16^th, 2014, starting at 6:30 pm, at a beautiful, historic site in Clifton.  The event will feature dinner and both silent and live auctions.  Auctioneer will be Steve Early Jr., of the Early Auction Company in Milford, OH.  Cost is only $65 per ticket.
