John Dovich Lends Skill & Leadership to Local Efforts
Cincinnati, OH (November 13, 2014) – The Salvation Army today announced that it inducted Mr. John Dovich, CLU, ChFC, to the Cincinnati Advisory Board. Mr. Dovich, founder and president of John D. Dovich & Associates, LLC, was tasked with aiding The Salvation Army in Greater Cincinnati as it works to fulfill its mission.
“We’re delighted to have John join our Advisory Board,” stated Major Larry Ashcraft, Divisional Commander at The Salvation Army. “John brings his work experience, his energy and his commitment to the local community to the tasks before us as we serve those most in need.”
John Dovich, a resident of Hyde Park, currently serves as president of John D. Dovich & Associates, LLC, an SEC Registered Investment Advisory Firm he founded in 1987. Mr. Dovich provides comprehensive financial, investment, estate planning and wealth management services to the firm’s clients. John has been the recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager award for seven years since the program’s inception. He graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in business with a concentration in economics. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Active in his community, John currently supports or has previously lent his expertise to Xavier University, the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council, the Center for Holocaust Humanity and Education, the Cincinnati Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization, the Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation, the United Way, Children’s Hospital, the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless, and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
Members of The Salvation Army Advisory Board actively participate in the organization’s operations, programs and fundraising. “We look forward to getting John engaged with our Board committee functions,” stated Matt Pearce, Development Director at The Salvation Army. “The Board members are an invaluable resource in our efforts to serve the Greater Cincinnati community; we simply can’t achieve all we do without their support.”
