The Camp SWONEKY opportunity is July 24th thru July 30th, 2014.  It is targeted to children ages 7 to 13. The fee is only $10 – parents need to complete the registration early, though, to save their child’s (children’s) place(s) for the opportunity.  Activities include the full set of offerings at beautiful Camp SWONEKY, including swimming, hiking, boating, a ropes course, animals, horseback riding and much more!

“We’re delighted to have these camp offerings for parents and children in our community,” stated Capt. Heather Holt, pastor at The Salvation Army Community Center in Covington.  “The Salvation Army’s heritage with camp goes back many decades, and is a core element of our service to disadvantaged children and youth each summer.”

Salvation Army camp opportunities require minimal registration fees; the majority of the cost associated with camp is covered by donations from generous donors.  Those interested in more information about these camps offered by the Covington Salvation Army should contact Heather Smith at The Salvation Army in Covington, at 859-261-0835.
